AFA Launches New Website On Battle Of Britain Anniversary

It is a privilege for Canberra web designer Fresh Creative to collaborate with the Air Force Association (AFA) on a modern design and construction for the AFA website, raafa.org.au. The website went live today, an auspicious and meaningful release date, as Australia marks the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

AFA Website

A fresh way to connect to the AFA
The AFA is a member-based organisation established to:

  • Foster friendships based on sharing Air Force and aviation experience,
  • Support commemorative activities, heritage and records of history, and
  • Provide for the welfare of members through advice, liaison and representation.

Hence, the new website aims to help the AFA meet these objectives.

Design, Functionality & Features
Fresh Creative designed and constructed the new website with users’ ease and convenience in mind. The mobile-responsive site uses simple and innovative tools for a clean user experience. For example, accordions allow users to access more information about a particular topic with a simple tap or click. Meanwhile, carousels provide an interactive visual review of news items. Additionally, this allows for users to click on any box in the carousel to take them to that particular item.

A proud collaboration between our Canberra web designer and the AFA
Fresh Creative has found our AFA collaboration to be a rich and also rewarding one. We are proud to have designed, constructed and launched this new website for the AFA. Additionally, we hope that, in our own way, are able to honour and celebrate the bravery and sacrifice of the men and women who serve our proud country in the Air Force.
